Only 4ish weeks left of the semester. Holy cow. Anyway, while taking a breather from animating my butt off, I dug up in my old computer archives an oolldd image I'd drawn of Sailor Moon. I was around ten years old when I drew it, back in 1997 I'm estimating. So for grins and giggles, I decided to do an updated sketch of Miss Moon. Drawing comparison is located here: [link]

Have I improved any? haha... I would hope so after 12 years.

I guess I've been thinking a lot about the future, but in turn it makes me think of the past. Hell I just achieved one of my childhood goals today. I can finally draw Sailor Moon. I can now die happy ha... ha ha ha...

Got into art school. Studying animation. Slowly checking off all these things from my childhood list of things to do. I guess I've been trying to come up with new goals now that I've finally been achieving things that I've always wanted since I was little. And trying to make some more adult goals too, now that I have so much more insight than I did as a child.

Also happy I might only have to take one course next semester. Hopefully. Maybe. I've been really inspired lately about drawing. And not having quite so much on my plate besides my Thesis and applying for jobs would give me some time to actually ya know... -draw-. Like inspired drawing. Not stuff for class.

Can't wait for Thanksgiving. I keep having these kinda home sicky type dreams. From weird stuff pertaining to the Wizard of Oz ( 'there's no place like home' ) to dreaming I'm rushing to catch my flight back home. Bah!
